The Digital Marketing Director is a highly-innovative individual who will lead all aspects of our Lead Generation, SEO, PPC, Social, Web, Path to Purchase, the Sales Force/Marketing cloud tech stack and how to make use of these tools to be world class in Lead Generation. This person will also be instrumental in the modernization of our digital infrastructure and ways we do business, identify and drive new digital business creation, and a key leader in the delivery of a superior customer experience and loyalty program. The Digital Marketing Director will help grow our brand’s influence while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness. The duties will include planning, implementing, and monitoring our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position. Must be an outstanding communicator with demonstrated experience leading a team, excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Significant experience managing a budget and an in-depth understanding of SEM. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Translating a vision for online marketing into a coherent digital marketing strategy
• Developing and executing integrated online strategy with wider company marketing plans
• Leading and managing the digital marketing team
• Leading ecommerce by increasing web visibility, traffic, and conversion rates
• Using PPC, SEO, email campaigns, blogs, forums, and other social media experience to generate leads
• Establish and manage the marketing cloud and tech stack
• Manage and optimize the customer journey through the digital touch points
• Establish and manage the CRM program
• Understanding analytics and measuring ROI
• Increase brand awareness
• Managing the Digital Marketing budget
• Managing performance by setting and proactively managing KPI’s
• Other duties may be assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: The Digital Marketing Director has successfully lead a team of people as well as lead cross functional teams and is an expert collaborator. This role has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field from four-year college or university. Ideally with a digital marketing or advertising qualification or certificate.
Knowledge: Having broad expertise or unique knowledge with experience in marketing, art direction, and social media management. In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics. Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
Job Complexity: Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
Supervision: Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of related experience.
