THE DETAILS

  • Drive Technical Accounting Excellence: Research, interpret, and document complex accounting issues under U.S. GAAP. Develop, maintain, and implement corporate accounting policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Lead Internal Controls and Audit Initiatives: Oversee the internal audit program, assess and strengthen internal controls, and support internal audit readiness. Provide expert accounting guidance on key business transactions and strategic initiatives.
  • Champion Process Improvement and Governance: Identify and implement process enhancements, automation, and system improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and transparency across accounting operations.
  • Foster Clear Communication and Collaboration: Deliver clear, well-documented accounting guidance, policy updates, and training while maintaining open communication across departments to support informed financial decisions.

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Certified Accounting Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with an active CPA license and 4–5+ years in public accounting (Big 4 required); experience in corporate technical accounting or public company environments preferred.
  • Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal control frameworks (COSO); proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical & Communication Strength: Proven ability to interpret and clearly communicate complex accounting issues, exercise sound judgment, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Known for initiative, integrity, and a collaborative mindset—adept at mentoring others, driving process improvement, and thriving within globally dispersed teams.
