IT End User Support Technician
We are seeking a hands-on IT End User Support Technician. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with software, hardware, and end users in a fast-paced environment. The technician will be responsible for setting up and configuring IT equipment, ensuring connectivity, and providing basic support to users during deployment. Location: Bingen, WA or Arlington, OR
Responsibilities:
- Unbox, inventory, and prepare IT equipment (laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals).
- Physically set up workstations including cabling, power connections, and peripheral installation.
- Configure devices according to company standards (OS installation, software setup, user profiles).
- Connect devices to wired and wireless networks, ensuring stable connectivity.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and network issues.
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure smooth deployment and documentation of setup processes.
- Provide friendly and professional support to end users during setup and initial use.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or hardware deployment.
- Familiarity with Windows OS and basic networking (Ethernet, Wi-Fi setup).
- Ability to lift and move equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an onsite environment.
