The Role:
Your role will be crucial in crafting bespoke solutions that resonate with our stakeholders’ aspirations, driving technological advancements that are in-line with industry standards.
- As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT infrastructure solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud, that align with the business goals and objectives.
- You will also provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT Infrastructure team and other stakeholders on best practices, standards, and architectures for IT infrastructure systems, computer networks, and cloud services.
- You will collaborate with other Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Developers to ensure the IT infrastructure solutions are aligned with the enterprise architecture vision and principles.
Day to Day:
- Define, design, and document IT infrastructure architectures for current and future state scenarios, considering scalability, performance, security, reliability, and availability.
- Develop and maintain IT infrastructure roadmaps, blueprints, standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Evaluate and recommend IT infrastructure technologies, tools, and vendors, and conduct proof of concepts and pilots. Provide technical leadership and oversight for the IT infrastructure projects and initiatives, ensuring adherence to the IT infrastructure architectures and best practices.
- Conduct IT infrastructure assessments, gap analysis, and risk assessments, and provide mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Communicate and present IT infrastructure architectures and solutions to various stakeholders, including senior management, business users, and technical teams.
- Provide technical mentoring and coaching to the IT Infrastructure team and other IT staff. Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in IT infrastructure, computer networks, and cloud services.
Come on your first day with:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure design, development, and implementation, with at least 5 years in an Enterprise Architect role.
- Expert knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure systems, computer networks, and cloud services, including servers, storage, network devices, virtualization, cloud computing, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and security.
- Strong knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools, such as TOGAF, Zachman, or ArchiMate.
- Strong knowledge and experience in IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT, or ISO 20000.
- Strong knowledge and experience in IT governance, compliance, and risk management, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or NIST.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance conflicting requirements and trade-offs.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Certifications in IT infrastructure, computer networks, or cloud services, such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, are preferred.
