The Digital Marketing Director is responsible for all marketing efforts as it relates to revenue, customer acquisitions, customer retention, and associated ROI on our branding and sales activities.
Essential Duties:
1. Define and implement the overarching sales, digital marketing and branding strategies that align with our company’s overall objectives and long-term vision.
2. Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, consumer trends, and effectively translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team to make data driven decisions.
3. Managing, motivating, and coaching the marketing team in conjunction with the company’s core values. Be a hand-on contributor, set performance expectations, and foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
Other Duties:
- Leads a marketing team to plan and execute weekly, monthly and quarterly marketing campaigns and content.
- Gathers competitor and customer insights to perform research and analysis on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Monitors performance analytics, SEO, web traffic and product performance.
- Formulates and helps implement marketing projects including but not limited to photography, video, & UX.
- Manages communication with external agencies, including but not limited to CRO, PPC, SEO and more.
- Consults on product development, new product launches, & developing new business opportunities.
- Develops dashboards and metrics to establish weekly reporting on sales and marketing activities as well team productivity.
- Designs and implements social media strategy which aligns with business goals and promotes high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
- Create and manage an intentional community building strategy across owned channels.
- Remains up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Sources, vets and presents new potential agencies/softwares as the need arises to leadership for approval.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with five years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:

Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Computer Skills:
Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicating by e-mail and using various software & systems.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
