Primary Requirements: 

  • Four years’ experience with IT technical project management for network cable plant and infrastructure modernization or upgrades. 
  • Four years’ experience with IT network infrastructure operations in a project management or technical capacity.
  • Contractor and vendor management experience. 
  • Dependable transportation for field site visits. 
  • Attention to detail with ability to perform data analysis and light reporting duties. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to work with any district personnel regardless of position, race or sexual identification. 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Experience with infrastructure upgrade projects for multiple concurrent sites or supporting large enterprise organizations. 
  • Network administration or relevant technical experience. 
  • Contractor or staff supervision experience. 
  • Experience with building construction and design review processes. 
  • Project tracking software experience. 
  • Project management or relevant network administration certifications. 

Work Duties: 

  • Track project deliverables and timelines and align resources to meet requirements. 
  • Meet with project stakeholders and team members to update status and communicate with participating operational teams. 
  • Communicate and meet with contractors and vendors to obtain project requirements and resources. Track deliverables for quality assurance. 
  • Perform site visits to review design plans and installation progress. 
  • Perform data analysis and generate reports to support project success and visibility. 
  • Attend in-person and remote meetings for project and team collaboration.
