QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for implementing QA in a company with no formal history of Quality Assurance. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities, open defect counts, and live site incidents) The QA role will work closely with DevOps, Product, Software Eng, Data Eng, and Business Intelligence.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop and apply automated testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

· Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

· Ensure thorough regression and integration testing for bug resolution and feature development

· Work cross functional to identify the causes of non-conforming software

· Coordinating with internal teams to provide timely and meaningful feedback on technical requirements, specifications, and design documents

· Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

· Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

· Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

Requirements

· Proven work experience in software quality assurance

· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

· Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

· Ability to write basic SQL Queries

· Ability to write basic CI/CD pipeline

· Ability to write python

· Ability to read C#

· Willingness to learn new languages/frameworks/technologies
