Additional Information:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and improving hardware and software systems. This position assists the infrastructure team in managing network outages, repairs, and upgrades in addition to serving as a technical adviser to the Service Desk and a general support specialist during periods of high volume requests.

-Install and configure hardware and software on workstations.
-Set up new user accounts in Active Directory.
-Maintain systems based on requirements such as patches, firmware, and updates.
-Produce preventive measures and educate end-users to become self-sufficient and reduce inbound support request volume.
-Analyze complex technical problems and build proactive solutions to avoid recurring requests.
-Participate in the evaluation, deployment, and management of technology solutions.
-Mentor Service Desk staff to build knowledge and skillsets.
-Review issues in application, event, and security logs to identify the root cause and course of action toward resolution.
-Monitor systems using tools and automated tasks to detect and resolve related outages.
-Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve technology issues to resolution.
-Develop and maintain documentation regarding system configurations, operating procedures, and related service records.
-Ensure compliance with all system procedures.
-Travel to store locations to assist IT with hardware maintenance, installation refresh

Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Technology or Computer Science.
