2182 Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who would be responsible for performing process definition, requirements gathering and analysis capabilities to help identify and understand business needs as part of individual assignments that are high in terms of complexity and diversity; participation in working groups and/or as part of PMO led projects. This role will leverage appropriate Business Analysis tools/solutions based on the standards/best practices of our client. This position requires minimal supervision delivering outcomes, significant breadth/depth of job specific knowledge and significant level of service delivery, professionalism, and communication. Additional Information:
Initial assignment will be to analyze the near term and long term needs for technology support for our Supply Chain function and identify a potential plan to address the following:
- Current support need gaps
- Supply Chain solution portfolio definition
- Organizational impact/changes

Daily Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery processes with stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome; 
- Engage with stakeholders across departments to ensure requirements are reflecting the needs of the company;
- Communicate and work with business subject matter experts and organization leadership;
- Identify business problems in conjunction with business leads;
- Explore and define business opportunities in conjunction with business leads;
- Conduct business benefit analysis via business case development;
- Define and document project scope and business requirements;
- Manage changing requirements and associated documentation;
- Define current ('as is') and future ('to be') business process states; 
- Participate with other teams in conducting product evaluations, including evaluation of third party products and / or custom development options and interface requirements.
 
Key Skills:
- Technical writing (business cases, project charters)
- Strong analysis skills for business process improvement efforts
- Ability to work independently
- Experience communicating with internal resources at various levels (from SMEs to C-suite)
- Work effectively in a collaborative environment
