Role Responsibilities:
· Work with engineers, leads and QA to ensure code is pushed out, bugs are resolved and environments are maintained.
· Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
· Produce Release, Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
· Weekly Release Reporting
· Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
· Negotiate, plan, and manage all release activities
· Work with release/quality engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
· Maintains the release schedule for all project tracks and ensures alignment across development teams
· Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
· Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists

Desired Skills and Experience:
· General understanding of ITIL Foundations V2 or V3
· Ability to resolve build issues, e.g. merge conflicts, compilation errors, missing dependencies
· Experience supporting Microsoft based server installations
· Experience working with Attlassian JIRA and Confluence
· Acted in the roll of Release Manager for 3+ Knowledge of analysis, design and configuration of complex multi-tiered server applications
· Familiarity with SDLC, Quality Standards, and Best Practices
· Effective organizational, problem solving and project management abilities
· Bachelor degree in a technical discipline
· Experience with build and deployment automation such as Cruse Control, Bamboo, and custom deployment tools
· Experience with Microsoft .Net, C# and JAVA development
· Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical team members
· Good computer skills, including but not limited to: knowledge of multiple software programs (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, Jira, etc.), operating systems, web browsers, basic networking skills, and basic hardware knowledge
